February is one of the busiest months for the Web Marketing Association. We announced the winners of the 2006 Interactive Investor Relations Awards, extended the deadline to enter the Internet Advertising Competition Awards (this Friday the entry form comes off the server and you'll have to wait until next year) and plan for our 11th annual WebAward competition.

Trade show and conferences are one of the best places to learn about what is happening in the industry and to meet with Internet professionals who are judges and/or participants in our award programs. This spring we will be traveling to all of the major Internet-oriented conferences increasing the awareness of the Web Marketing Association and the WebAward Competition. Many times we are able to get valuable discounts and offer free conference passes the readers of this newsletter.

Right now, you will find us at MediaPost's OMMA Hollywood March 19 & 20, Search Engine Strategies New York April 10-13, ad:tech San Francisco April 25 & 26, and then we go international at Internet World London May 1-3, and finally Search Engine Strategies Toronto June 12 & 13. Congratulations to Cramer-Krasselt for winning the Best of Show in the 2006 Interactive Investor Relations Awards for their outstanding work on AirTran Airways 2005 Annual Report The site also won Best Airline IR Website in the competition.

If you haven't gotten your entries completed for the 2007 Internet Advertising Competition (IAC) Awards, don't wait much longer because after Friday, you'll be waiting until next year. We normally extend the deadline for a week or two in order to get everything in order. Judging starts next week, so this is it.
