Here is what is going on with the Web Marketing Association for April 2013.

WebAward Call For Entries Now Underway

The Web Marketing Association is pleased to announce the 17th annual Call for Entries for its 2013 international WebAward Competition. The deadline for entry is May 31, 2013 and the competition Website is at www.webaward.org.

Here is your chance to reward the development team that works hard every day to create outstanding websites. Recognition is an important part of why you enter an award program and the WebAwards have been using the same format to adjudicate websites for 17 years, longer than any other organization on the Internet.

Entering is easy. Simply create a nominator account or log into an existing account from past years. This password protected area will allow you to enter multiple sites, edit the information up to when the judging begins and receive updates, results and feedback on your entries throughout the competition.

WebAward Call For Judges

With the continued growth of the WebAwards, we are looking for experienced Web development professionals to serve as judges for the 2013 WebAwards. This is a great opportunity to join a like minded group of experts to discuss the latest trends in web development and give back to the online marketing community by reviewing entries. If you think you have what it takes to be a WebAward judge, please complete the Judges Nomination Form.

IAC Award Winners Announced

Earlyer this month we announced the winners of our Internet Advertising Competition (IAC) Awards, to honor excellence in online advertising and to recognize the individuals and organizations responsible for the best in Internet marketing. The Competition web site with a complete list of winners is located at Congratulation to Biggs|Gilmore who was recognized with the 2013 Top Agency Award, winning 24 IAC Awards. This is the fourth time in the past five years Biggs|Gilmore has been recognized with this honor.

2013 Best of Show Awards were awarded in each of the online medium categories. This year's winners are:
