October is always a busy month here at the Web Marketing Association.

The winners for the WebAward Competition were released last month and we spend a lot of time email people and helping them update their award information, ordering additional awards and answering questions from people who wished they had entered. The physical awards are in production and should start shipping in the next two weeks or so. Additional awards can be ordered at the WMA Award Recognition Center . Awards that are ordered will begin production right after the initial awards are completed.

October is also the time we update the Internet Advertising Competition Awards website. This program kicks-off next month.

Trade Show Drawings

In the last issue of Interactive Briefing, we offered an opportunity to enter a drawing for a full conference pass to PPC Summit in Chicago, November 4&5. Congratulations to Elizabeth Herrington of Herrington Designs who is on her way to the Windy City to attend this outstanding educational event. There is still time to sign up for this event. This month our friends at ad:tech are providing a full conference pass to their New York conference http://www.ad-tech.com/NY to one lucky person. This year the conference will be held at Jacob K. Javits Center November 4-6. This is a great conference and always packed with interesting speakers and outstanding networking opportunities.

Keeping up with the Web Marketing Association

It's amazing that every year we get emails from nominators who have won an award that tell us they did not get notified when they won or when a new competition is beginning. Corporate email filters can block these emails, that is why we have other options.

Make sure you stay up to date with what is going on with the WMA by joining our Facebook Group and/or LinkedIn group . We will message these groups when a award program kicks-off or we offer drawings for conference tickets.
