March is a very busy month at the Web Marketing Association. 

The Internet Advertising Awards judging is underway, the judges are reviewing the entries and things are going smoothly.

The second annual Interactive Investor Relations Awards is also underway. It used to be the annual report that was the centerpiece communication effort between the company and its shareholders and the investment community.  Now it's the investor relations Web site.  Public companies rely on their IR sites for critical disclosure needs and help investors and analysts properly valuate their company's stock and to tell their story to the Street.  If your company is public or have clients that are, you should consider entering the IIR Awards to promote your online efforts and gain valuable feedback for future development.  The call for entries will end March 31.

We are also in the final preparations for the 2005 WebAward Competition for Website development.  The site is being updated and the databases cleaned up.  We will kick off April 4th and expect this year's competition to be the biggest and best ever.  If you have any suggestions for new industry categories, now is the time to speak up.  Email me your suggestions and we will try to include as many as make sense. Also, if you are a 2004 WebAward winner and would like to write an article for this newsletter on how your winning site was developed, please email me.
