What if North Myrtle Beach could meet travelers before they ever pack a bag? Through engaging, cross-device interactive experiences, we brought the destination to life by capturing attention, sparking wanderlust, and driving real results. From July 2024 to June 2025, the campaign aimed to build awareness of NMB, showcase its offerings, and drive high-quality site traffic and engagements to boost conversions. We reached travel-minded adults 25 and older which included families, DINKs, SINKs, Millennials, and Gen X travelers, and past visitors. Audiences were selected based on interests that align with NMB’s core experiences, including beach escapes, family travel, outdoor adventures, arts and culture, and food and dining. The campaign exceeded benchmarks, delivering a 2.31% CTR, 2.79% interaction rate, and 86% viewability, driving 153,000 clicks to NMB content. Against benchmarks of 1–2% CTR, 1.5–2% interaction rate, and 70% viewability, results demonstrated exceptional audience engagement. This translated into strong travel intent, with nearly three in four respondents likely to consider North Myrtle Beach for their next vacation, twice the industry norm. Top-performing audiences included: Travel Enthusiasts (2.40% CTR) Families (2.18% CTR) Millennials (2.11% CTR) Content that resonated most featured: Travel (2.97% CTR) Entertainment (2.5% CTR) Food & Beverage (2.40% CTR) Additionally, Undertone ran a System1 Creative Diagnostic with 150 people who viewed the ad. It outperformed destination averages, driving 7x higher unaided brand recall and 2x higher consideration intent, and received elite 5* performance (compared to a 3* average), placing NMB in the top 1% of all campaigns tested.
