Visit Williamsburg set out to raise awareness and inspire travelers - particularly leisure family travelers in the northeast interested in history, education and cultural travel - to visit Williamsburg and America’s Historic Triangle. The video draws viewers in with dramatic music and cinematic visuals, setting an emotional tone that feels both timeless and contemporary. An evocative narrative positions Williamsburg’s history as alive and unfolding, bridging our storied past with the possibilities of the present. By showcasing iconic American adventures from yesterday to today, the video invites audiences to see themselves within this enduring story - experiencing the same spirit of discovery, freedom, and exhilaration. Together, the video’s resonant sound, imagery, and storytelling inspire curiosity and spark a desire to experience America’s Historic Triangle firsthand. The video ends with the tagline “Where America’s Journey Begins,” differentiating Williamsburg from other historic destinations. The 30-second spot performed exceptionally across key metrics: Impressions: 7,367,098 VCR (Video Completion Rate): 85.82% Conversions: 8,462 Conversion Rate: 0.12% All placements exceeded performance expectations. The video spot surpassed all individual placement benchmarks, some by wide margins: OLV & custom content video – VCR: 92.41% (Benchmark: 75%) YouTube :30s skippable – VCR: 38.11% (Benchmark: 10% – 20%) YouTube :30s non-skippable – VCR: 95.91% (Benchmark: 85% – 92%) Travel & Tourism CTV – VCR: 98.52% (Benchmark: 95%)
